I've posted selections in NFL before (not this season, however). I've NEVER posted in basketball. But, I have been trying out a selection strategy that has gone 3-0 for me the past week or so. This strategy starts with predictions of winners and losers in all college games. I then play any underdog I have predicted as a winner (regardless of the predicted spread).
I don't know that this approach will select many for few -- I suspect only a couple each week. Example, last night it pointed to North Texas as a 5pt winner over Baylor. I played N Texas as a 1.5 pt dog, and they own outright.
Anyway, tonight, my method picks Fresno St. as a 2pt winner over Pacific. But I can get Fresno as a 5.5 pt dog. So I will play on the dog.
I will only play on dogs that are predicted winners, not on predicted pointspread differences (like I predict a team to win by 17 and the line is only -7). Must be a team I predict to win, but the line has as a dog.
So...my first selection is Fresno St. +5.5
I'll continue to post as the system comes up with plays. Perhaps the system will continue to be successful. Still new and might collapse, so I am playing them easy (smaller than normal play).
Good luck to all!
